Media Bio
Connie L. Peters is a Christian writer and poet whose work includes poetry, fiction, devotions, and creative nonfiction for children, teens, and adults. Her writing has appeared in books, magazines, devotional publications, take-home papers, and websites for more than forty years. She served as a staff writer for The Presidential Prayer Team’s Vantage Point Devotional for twelve years. She also served on the board of the Southwest Christian Writers Association for at least twenty years, holding leadership roles at various times as president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
Connie has written a poem every day since October 2004. Her published poetry collection, Waltzing with Words: 101 Poems to Set Your Spirit Dancing, reflects her love of creativity and everyday life. Her upcoming books include the poetry collections That's Life and What Will This Poem Be?, along with Quirks, a novel for preteens about loss, friendship, and hope.
